Released in 1990, this popular album is still selling well. Besides Terry are Ian Hunter-Randall, Phil Rhodes, Barney Bates, Mike Godwin and John Armatage.
Denis Preston was responsible for most of the classic British jazz recordings of the 1950s and 1960s. One of his most significant series of recordings was the Lansdowne Series on Columbia Records.
This is his production of Terry Lightfoot's New Orleans Jazzmen in 1961-62.
Terry joins Russia's finest jazz band, the Uralsky All Stars for this special CD on Timeless Records.
