Melinda Lightfoot

Born in 1962, Melinda is the youngest daughter of Terry and his wife Iris. Melinda first started to sing with her Dad's band in 1999 and in 2001 featured on two tracks of Terry's album 'Mainly Traditional', singing the the fine Duke Ellington song 'Don't Get around Much Any More' and 'God Bless The Child', a wonderful song associated with Billie Holliday. Melinda's first full album, entitled 'Hit Me With A Hot Note', was released in 2006 with backing from Terry and the Jazzmen and received much critical acclaim.
